The Senior Football team won the Cup Semi-Final 3-2 against Inverness Royal Academy. The date of the final and opponents are still to be determined.
The U15 team were deafeated in the Cup Semi-Final they lost 3-1 to Dingwall Academy. The team played really well and scoreline did not really refelect how close the game was.
12/04/10 Aberdeenshire Schools Election
Pupils in Ellon Academy recently had the opportunity to run and vote in their own election process, experiencing first hand how democracy works. Ellon Academy was one of the seven participating schools from across Aberdeenshire who were given the opportunity to nominate their own candidates, run their own campaigns, staff the polling stations and count the votes. Ellon Academy returned a win for the Liberal Democrat candidate.
Aberedeenshire are keen to gather views of the pupils involved in the elections and have set up an online survey for pupils to complete.

Ellon Academy’s S1 football team face Cults Academy in the final of the ESSO cup tomorrow, the game takes place at Aberdeen Lads Club - 9.30am kick off. The boys have overcome Torry, Meldrum and Harlaw to reach what will be the first of two cup finals this year.

Football Success
The Ellon Academy Under 15 football team won their quarter final of the North of Scotland Schools Cup against Wick High School. It was 2-2 after extra time and Ellon won 4-3 on penalties. The Semi-final will be played against the winner of Milnes High School or Dingwall Academy.

Congratulations to Grant Thomson 3K1 who has been selected to play for the Scotland Under 15 Footbal team.
