The Modern Languages Faculty is responsible for the delivery of French and German for pupils in S1- S6. Currently we offer French and German at Access 3, Standard Grade, Intermediate II, Higher and Advanced Higher. Pupils wishing to study two foreign languages can do so from S3 onwards.
We pride ourselves on enabling our pupils to achieve excellent exam results at all levels.
At a wider level, we firmly believe that learning another language helps our pupils step into and understand a different culture.
A person competent in other languages can bridge the gap between cultures, contribute to international diplomacy, promote national security and world peace, and successfully engage in international trade.
