All pupils may, at some time, require additional support because of personal circumstance, a specific learning difficulty or, indeed, being gifted in a particular curricular area. Procedures are in place to identify and respond to individual needs. Support may range from specific learning approaches, deployment of learning support personnel to provision of specialised resources or courses. Some pupils may require an IEP (Individualised Education Programme), which is agreed with school, parents and pupil. The school works closely with parents, pupils and other professionals in the identification and review of additional support needs.
