History Today: Allows access to articles printed in this periodical and allows some back issues to be printed off. You can also access the History Review from here.

SCRAN: This web site has been created as a database mainly of texts and photographs relating to Scottish history. You can look for specific information on a related historical event, time period or topic. You can explore this web site according to your course of study - there is a specific Standard Grade section.Web site is most useful to S1, S3 and Higher pupils.

Prehistoric Grampian: This web site is a database of ancient prehistorical sites in what was the Grampian area. Many of the sites are to be found in Aberdeenshire. When you access this site, you will find information about the prehistory of the area and a list of sites that you can find out about. You can then click on the historical site that you want information on.Web site is most useful to S1 pupils.

The John F. Kennedy Assassination Home page This web site has been created by a university lecturer in Germany and has excellent information on many aspects of the assassination. The home page will give you many options to chose from and you will also be able to link other web sites from this site also. Pages of interest on this site are the overview, the photo library and umbrella man. You can also find the Warren Commission Report - the official Government conclusion to the assassination but be prepared - it is very long and complex. Web site is useful to S2.
